easy diy: sharpie and ceramics

While browsing through some blogs, I found this awesome and easy diy for ceramics! I had just bought a boring tool container for my kitchen, and I wanted it to fit my small theme. Duh duh duh duuuuuuh... I decided to decorate it myself!

All you need is some sharpies and an oven. You can also do this on any ceramics surface, mugs and plates included! Just be careful to not mark on where you'll be drinking if it's on a mug. Otherwise, have a party!

After you're done decorating and coloring, just heat your oven to 350 degrees and place your item in the oven for 30 minutes. Once it's cooled, you're ready to do whatever you please with your new, colorful item. :)

NOTE: these are not dishwasher safe! If the color does wear, you can always just repeat the process.

What is your favorite easy DIY?
